I.T is an asset, not an expense

When will small to medium sized companies realise that I.T is an asset and not just an expensive sent to hinder the profit margin?
I’ve worked for companies of varying sizes, with varying I.T requirements and most of them have been the same; they only spend money on I.T when something either breaks or needs updating.

I am a member of the Microsoft Technet subscription, which I would recommend to any I.T professional. The UK technet team have regular blogs which I subscribe to, its good to read a real world Microsoft employees point of view and I think makes me more enamored with the UK division of Microsoft.

We recently decided to switch service providers at home to Virgin Media, the main reason for this; we can get a better deal if we combine home phone, broadband and a TV package.

The perfect mobile device

I’ve been reading alot about Windows Mobile 6, the new Microsoft O/S for mobile devices like PDA’s and Smartphones.
I’m a great fan of Windows Mobile powered devices. I have owned a Windows Mobile device since Windows Mobile 2003 SE and love the fact that I can work with documents and receive emails on the move.
