8GB MicroSDHC Card Anyone?
Categories: Hardware

SanDisk 8GB MicroSDHCWith the recent news about the release of 8GB MicroSDHC and M2 cards I’m sure your bursting at the seams to get one of these flash storage cards for your device so you can load it full of your favorite music, films and pictures.

Well a word of warning, these new large capacity cards may not work in your device. Although the new SDHC cards are designed to be backwardly compatible this is not always the case and many people with slightly older devices will find this out the hard way.

Luckily

Nokia N95 – Pass
HTC Touch – Pass
Blackberry 8310 – Pass
Motorola RAZR2 – 4GB out of 8GB
Samsung F700v – 4GB out of 8GB
Vodafone Croix – 4GB out of 8GB
HTC Kaiser – Pass
HTC Advantage – Pass
Palm Treo 750 (US Version without WM6) – FAIL

I can also confirm that the HTC S710 (aka E650 and v1415) work with the new 8GB MicroSDHC cards.

    Hello and happy new year.
And what about Treo 750 with WM6.

    Thank you

    Thank’s for your comment Xavier.

Currently I cannot confirm if an 8GB card will work in the Treo 750 with WM6, I’ve sent a few emails and will hopefully post the responses here.
