seagate_barracuda_7200_11_1tb.

Yesterday saw a nice parcel waiting for me when I got home. I ordered two Seagate Barracuda 1TB hard drives a while back for my Windows Home Server (WHS) project and because storage space has been becoming an issue for the last few months.

They are currently fitted to the WHS and the installed operating system and data is being ‘ghosted’ to the first of the new drives.

As I mentioned in my WHS Installation & First Impressions post I plan to have all my SATA hard drives connected as individual drives and then have WHS duplicate critical data across multiple drives using the in built functionality. This way I don’t have second copies of data which is not critical to me wasting space.
