As far as new announcements go, the Android one was huge.
Google is a giant not just on the web but in business in general but to team up with 33 other companies like HTC, Intel, nVidia, Qualcomm, SiRF, T-Mobile, Sprint and Broadcomm to name a few is just colossus.

I posted about the death of the gPhone and the birth of Android last week. Its new open source mobile phone operating system and on the 9th of November the SDK was made available to developers along with a $10,000,000 of cash prizes to developers who can capture the imagination of a panel of judges.
